½ oz LAVA Simple Syrup (optional, for balance)

½ tsp activated charcoal (for color)

Garnish: lime wheel or LAVA dehydrated lime

Ice: cubed
Instructions

Fill a shaker with ice.

Add rum, LAVA Sweet & Sour Mix, LAVA Simple Syrup, and activated charcoal.

Shake until chilled and strain into a rocks or highball glass filled with ice.

Garnish with a lime wheel or LAVA dehydrated lime slice.
Notes
• Use black food color instead of charcoal for visual effect only.
• Sub coconut rum for a lighter tropical version.
• Add a splash of soda for sparkle.
