Did Someone Say Micheladas?
If you’ve been following us closely, then you may have noticed some common themes emerging. Obviously, we love craft cocktails, but among our other loves is California, where we’re based, and pro sports, as we’ve been on tour with the PGA this year. And all of these passions come together for an exciting new partnership we’re thrilled to announce with one of America’s largest restaurant franchises, Buffalo Wild Wings and their award-winning franchisee World Wide Wings, LLC.
Just in time for football season, we’re thrilled to be launching a pilot program with Buffalo Wild Wings using our craft cocktail mixers. This football season, when you go into select Buffalo Wild Wings in California to order a Michelada, you’ll be enjoying it with our Authentic Style Michelada Mix, served with Modelo! We had World Wide Wings (franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings) CMO Joe Janaszek recently try our mixes, and after it wowed both him and his co-workers, he wanted to bring our Michelada Mix into Buffalo Wild Wings in conjunction with football season. As Janaszek told us, “It’s a premium tasting product at an affordable price, and we’re excited to launch LAVA’s Michelada Mix to prepare for the upcoming football season as part of our drink offerings.”
Soaking Up The Micheladas and The California Sun
We couldn’t be more excited, for a number of reasons. While it’s an exciting craft cocktail partnership on its own, it’s especially exciting to be launching this program with Buffalo Wild Wings in California. Southern California is where we’re from after all, plus this inaugural partnership showcases the unique flavors of Mexico, which has influenced California (and us!) so much.
This is important, too, because it continues to raise the bar on cocktails, which is the heart of LAVA. Although craft cocktails have continued to trend upward in recent years, many of the most common drinks are still made with cocktail mixers that are mass-produced and use artificial ingredients. However, our mixers are absent of MSG, artificial ingredients, high fructose corn syrup, and preservatives. Rather, we use unique, natural ingredients curated from around the world in every bottle, making them in small batches to maximize freshness. In the case of our Michelada Mix, we curate San Marzano tomatoes from Naples, Italy and ancho chile peppers from Pueblo, Mexico, mixing them with horseradish, tamarind, and other spices.
As bars continue to elevate their cocktails, we’re excited to now be on the forefront of major restaurants that are doing the same through this partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee World Wide Wings, LLC.
